How long is a BLS certificate valid?
Your MEDWAY BLS certificate shows its validity date. We recommend booking your renewal a few weeks before it expires.
Do I need BLS for a job or licence in the UAE?
Most hospitals and clinics in the UAE ask healthcare staff to hold a valid BLS certificate, and it's often requested with job and licensing applications. Check the current requirement with your employer or regulator.
Can non-healthcare staff take BLS?
BLS is designed for healthcare providers. If you're not in healthcare, our First Aid & CPR course is usually the better fit.
Can you run BLS at our clinic?
Yes. We run on-site BLS for groups at clinics, hospitals and pharmacies across Abu Dhabi.
